There is no research against it. But shots are contraindicated in MS (and as we know it, it is casused by the same bacteria).
I would say better avoid the shot, if you can.

hi annette - i strongly suggest that you don't get them. my guess is that i had an occult lyme and babs infection that my immune system was handling very well until i got the series of hep b shots for work. dr byron hyde also noticed a correlation (not a causation) between slow onset cfids and hep b shots: http://tinyurl.com/9ldup this is a very long paper but somewhere in the middle he mentions it... deb

I am vaccinated against pretty much everyting known to man (I work, and travel, for the Navy).
I have this whole conspiracy theory idea that dances in the back of my head from time to time, where the government injected me with Lyme, or at least a GPS tracking device so they could watch over me, but really it's just a little mind game I play with myself.
Anyways (back to the subject), I have had not one problem with ANY of our vaccinations (which include smallpox, anthrax, and hepatitis). Personally, if it's not going to kill me, I'd rather be vaccinated against these horrible things than end up with them AND Lyme. Aren't we supposed get a little sick from vaccines anyways? Isn't that indicative of a vaccine that works?

I should probabaly add that I wasn;t given these vaccines over the period of a year, I got them all in one small time frame less than 2 years ago.
