theralac by far has been the best for me---oh I gotta go take some now!
I only have to take one pill a day!!! I rarely crave sweets and have no vag yeast.
Also eat some plain organic yogurt every day. this helps with probiotics all the way thru your from your mouth into tummy.

I use Theralac but have had incredible success stopping an acute herx in its tracks with Bio-K plus (well, that and charcoal). I just wish the Bio-K wasn't so expensive - it runs me about $4.50 a pop at Whole Foods, but man does that stuff work.

Yes, Doxy is a doosy, I can attest to that, as is Tetracycyline. And i was taking Acidophilis when on them.
It works good on herbal protocol, no problems to speak of.
I didn't have yeast problems, but did have stomach pain and nausea on those abx.
Dr. B. doesn't recommend the Doxy these days. I was reading his Sept 2005 article the other night. He says many others are easier on the stomach. HOwever the others have other drawbacks.
Sigh!
I had wanted to do Amoxicillin, but for now am just going to stick with the herbs and see how I progress in the next couple of months.
I ran out of Acidiphilis a couple of days ago, got to order some more along with some other things. But I am taking the Sarsaparilla, Red Root and Milk Thistle yet, so that should help. As long as I stay of the abx, that is.
