They are vegetable capsules that are an isolated form of acidophilus that help to increase the strength of your immune system. I take 2 a day.

They are vegetable caplets that are supposed to boost your immune system. My LLMD gave them to me but who knows if it helps or not. I think the Biaxin is helping the most but it doesn't hurt to take them. Also your calcium and magnesium.

I have here in my hand (or at least on my desk) a botle of "russion choice immunue" that was a FREE sample from nutricology. It came in the box with artiminisin.

I have not opened it yet but I have researched what it is supposed to do. It appears to be based on a discovery made as part of the soviet germ warfa....... no scratch that.

It is supposed to be a compound made of the dead (read lysed) form of some particular bacteria (I forget the name) who's remant protiens have a broad antagonistic effect on the immune system. It is basically supposed to light up the overall immunue response as a result. It was discovered in russia, (but I dont know how.), ths the name.

I have not dared to experiment with the stuff as my immune response is already screwed up. It would therefore be interesting to hear what others have to say.

My husband has been on this for the last 6 months, first getting it from the LLMD, and then ordering on-line when he needed more. It is supposed to support/strengthen the immune system. All I can say is he still takes it, and he has NOT caught the last 4-5 colds that both my son and I have caught, whereas last year, he caught EVERYTHING and ended up in bed for long periods of time. Of course, it may be that he was also diagnosed with Lyme disease (finally)and is now receiving proper treatment instead of languishing in the land of CFS! Who knows......

Thanks for the infor Davi & nukegirl

I would be afraid to over- stimulate my already overstimulated immune response.
