Hi all

I have been taking bismuth for 2-3 weeks (in tablet pepto bismol form) and I actually felt WELL for 3 days. I must say this is not the only change I have made. I have terrible food allergies and recently cut out ALL dairy and wheat (those are the two foods that my naturopath said are poison to my system - which I already knew from allergy testing).

Anyways, after feeling sick for the first 10 days I could not quite believe how good I felt for the last couple of days. I am almost reluctant to say anything, for fear of jinxing myself.

I tried the bismuth after reading the article in pubmed, which convinced me it was worth a whirl.

Gwen

That's the hitch in trying several possible remedies at one time. You don't know which one is working.

But I know you are pleased at the effect, if uncertain about the cause for the improvement.

I am happy yo have good results. See my post blow. I would like to try again. I was very impressed by the effects:

My experience below may agree with the curing effects of bismuth:

Before I had MRI exam, I drank 3 cups of Barium sulfate and I felt so good during that day and the following 3 days that I was wondering that if Barium has some curing effects? Does anybody have such experience? I would like to try again if I can get some Barium sulfate> Does anybody know how to get it?

PS, I had serious GI uncomfortable before, wondering the Bbs thriving in the tract?

for a unique formulation of bismuth, and other elements hooked up to fatty acids, see
http://www.tinyurl.com/luho for use in certain illnesses.

while technical, i suggest going to the section on 'detailed description..." where much is in 'english', and so understood for a good part of it.

funny you should mention it.

Ive taken Pepto 2 weeks ago and again yesterday...for stomach problems. It stopped the problems. which i think could have been a herx.

Also, felt better after my barium swallow in october.......i had horrible right side groin/pelvic pain and lower right back pain.

It was gone the next day.....i found that so odd...and the groin pain never came back like that again.

the barium sulfate effect you sensed piqued my curiosity. i recall your saying this in a prev. post on the bismuth.

who knows... perhaps it did kill susceptilble pathogens, or if radiation is involved in this procedure, the combined influence(impact) on pathogens may have done them in.
there might be another ingredient(s) in the barium sulfate drink that did something.
