This may sound dumb, but can you get a fever blister from antibiotics or is it from lyme?

A fever blister is a virus. Herpes Simplex virus, aka cold sores. You need Valtrex, acyclovir or Zivorax ointment and possibly oral valtrex, plus L-Lysine cream. Don't kiss anybody, they are highly contagious until it dries up and falls off. See your doc about this.

Mouth sores are listed at the side-effect of one of my antibiotics (forget which one).
You might want to check the symptom list for whatever you're taking. Also, talking with your LLMD is a good idea!
They've been a problem for me throughout treatment, sometimes worse than others.

Cold sores, fever blisters, shingles and etc... from the herpes virus can be quite an embarrassing problem.
Valtrex was very helpful.
When your immune system is down becuase of Lyme and antibioitcs the virus can go crazy.
In my case it was very important to keep the virus in check.
Since I've been feeling better..... I've slowly lowered the valtrex and my LLMD told me to take L-lysine tablets 3x per day.
I also take wild oil of oregano two drops under the tongue daily. It's also an antiviral.
Another natural strong antiviral is fresh garlic. But don't eat this on an empty stomache. I did that a couple times and it was awful.
You can private message me if you like.
