It requires a prescription, which you probably already knew. If a pharmacy is unable to order it for you, I'd go to the hospital your MD is affiliated with and ask their pharmacy to order it for you.

Assuming you have a doctor who is willing to treat you with Bicilin, getting it may be a bit more complicated.
About three years ago, there was a shortage in Canada which was engineered by the pharmaceutical company that made it. This resulted in Canadian medical authorities restricting Bicillin to the treatment of syphilis. Later, I was in communication with a Canadian Lyme patient who had been given the French version, Extencilline. My impression is that the authorities were importing it from France to get around the American company that, in my opinion, was blackmailing them.
What does your doctor have to say about this? His/her information is probably a lot more current.

Hello, You might also want to try a locally owned pharmacy. Some of the big name pharmacies will not order outside of their warehouses.
I was told by my big name pharmacy that the drug was unavailable. I turned around and went to my local pharmacy who had it to me in two days.
Take care, Ms. Myo
