Het guys I have finally got my results in for my test I am not sure what they mean though.

All of my elisa test were negative. The only positive that I had was on one band on th igenex test.

It showed that band 23 b was positive. Everthing else was fine. Also my cortisol levels was tripled from what it was susposed to be.

Can anyone explain what a positive 23b is. Does this mean that I have lyme? thanks

Hi Lymed.

I didn't know LLMD's ever used the ELISA test. Hmm.

On my western blot from IGeneX, it's clumped together as "23-25" and mine is positive also. There's no separation of the numbers. So I'm not sure where the 23b comes from as you indicate. However, I know the 23-25 bands ARE specific for Borrelia so I'd say if that's a western blot for Lyme then presuming it correlates with your clinical history, it sounds positive to me.

What does your LLMD say?

Michelle

It is possible that with treatment, you will get more immune response and more bands over time. That seems like a pretty strong drug combo to start with...just listen to your body.
