Hey guys and gals is dizzyness common with lyme? I get so dizzy like my head will fall forwards then backwards and i fell like passing out.

Also I was taking herbs for treatment and was doing real well with them. Llmd said to quit taking them for one week and start my abx treatment which is mino, biaxan, and plaquil.

I have quit the herbs for about a half of a week and I feel worse than ever. My ? is can I take these herbs with these meds or should I start with the herbs again and forget the abx.

Or try to wait a week and get on abx only. I feel alful very dizzy and like im holding an electric fence. The herbs are andrographis, smilax, cats claw and devils claw.Any suggestions on thew dizzyness. Thanks alot

For the dizziness you can try dramamine or get a script for antivert.

neither really worked for me. I had the dizziness when i was hit hard in August.

it went away with a brief zmax treatment.

dizziness is often tell tale of babesia. I get it when I am having a babs relapse or flare. I actually passed out once from it while teaching.

fun fun.

It can be lyme realted but is much more babs related.

I would do what your doc wants and do not take the herbs while taking the abx unless the doc okays it. MANY herbs interfere with the abx in ways that lots of people dont understand or know.

Good luck!

Did you begin the abxs and then got dizzy?

I started Mino 15 days ago and have felt dizzy/unsteady ever since. The side effects warned of this as have others who have used Mino.

Just a thought...

I've been having the dizzy spells since 2000 and I wasn't on abx at that time.

I'm inclined to think they were the babesia...I tested negative for it when the lyme doc checked...but I'd already been on Doxy for 2 years for chronic kidney infection, so I think that killed it off. I've definitely had a decrease in spells...but they aren't completedly gone yet.
