How many people here are working on heavy metal detox in combination with Lyme treatment. If you are, what treatments have you used and what did you find to be of value? Did you have before and after treatment tests done that you felt confirmed that positive results of your efforts? Be well.

Scott, I guess not. I have only one explanation ---maybe they are all too busy with the Porno site I ran into accidentally yesterday. Yes, on Lymenet. On the Newbie section.

(I got into it trying to check if anyone had posted Dr. K.'s published article on tonsils as a general info on the "Newbie" section. No tonsil article, of course.)

What I came up with instead was the first and ugliest Porno site. I had never seen one before. And there, instead of colonics and mercury, it was -- staring me in the face! A porno site in the Newbie section.

Do you think I am kidding? Absolutely not.

[confused] I thought I was not seeing right.

Ask the Lymenet Police. I reported the incident.

Now, back to mercury, yes I treated for it. And it helped me get rid of all Lyme and associated diseases. I am well today.

Most people do not yet understand the connection and probably never will.

Take care.

I have been working on heavy metal detox for the last few months months, and thats the only thing I am doing. I cannot tolerate abx so no treatment for lyme.
I have been using following supplements for detox
Bio-Reu-Rella (Now I just ordered BioPure Chlorella along with RechtsReg)
Nestmann Cilantro Tablets 3-4 tablets a day
Nestmann WildBear garlic 6 caps a day
Opti MSM
NDF Plus (Next is PCA-RX)
Omega 3 (Fish Oil, Molecularly distilled)
Renilix drops
Itires drops
Ailgeno drops
N-A-C
Will start Toxex drops

Other supplents
FibroDMG (Foodscience)
CF (PureEncaps)
Tonique Vegital(Lehning France) etc.

I am not sure if detox supplements had helped me for heavy metals or not, but I think they did something, as for the last more than a month or so I have been so extra fatague and feeling so sick and having weekness and trembling or shivering in legs with brain fog??.
But BioReuRella certainly helped me for my GI problems. Also, I think wb garlic helped increased my immunity against infections as in my home, lately every one else having bad cold/flue but I didnt catch that.
I absolutely understand the importance of heavy metal detox in regaing health so I will stick to detox program.

I would probably be doing hair analysis test soon.

Would you tell me what helped you the most ?

I havent started yet, but need to, as my last dental work was finish about 6 weeks ago. It is very confusing to try and pick the best thing to do, and I think I may take an ABX break and focus on metals, real nutrition without worring about candida, and maybe use something alternate like rife or salt/C. I am very interested in peoples experience detoxing metals.

Scott,
I had all my amalgam fillings replaced, my only root canal tooth pulled and a cavitation cleaned about 3 yrs. ago (before I knew that lyme was causing my symptoms)

I didn't know what to do to get the mercury out, so I did nothing. It seemed to be the safest thing to do as I didn't know anyone who could help me chelate the mercury or what a safe protocol would be.

I hope to get an appt. with Dr. K in the near future and thru ART find out what heavy metals I have and use his protocol to remove them.

I really believe this will be a turning point in my healing.

If you can get an appt with Dr. K, that is great. It is difficult as he is so busy. However, he puts all his metal detox info on his web site and I would think that you could find a practitioner with some knowledge if this through acam.org or other resource and that would likely be better than doing nothing at all. Be well.

Removing all metals, root canals and cavitations (infected jawbone) helped most. That started my road to being well again.

Take care.

I think what is difficult for me and perhaps many others is that there is no one nearby to help with the heavy metal detox. I know I drive 7 hours just to see my LLMD.

I live in a town called Normal [Razz] (Really) and it is very normal in terms of traditional medicine rules the roost here.

The other question is how do you know if you have heavy metal problems. If one has no amalgram fillings and no root canals, then it is hard to know. Some people say hair tests are accurate and some say they are not. I don't know what to believe anymore. Hiker

Hiker, you might want to go to this site, a friend with a brain, and study some of the info there. I am not advocating any of this products.
Just the general information - you won't find many other places. www.healthydetox.org

Take care.

On the road to finding out I had Lyme I went to a naturopath (the wonderful women that sent me to Igenex) she tested my hair.

I had very high levels of Mercury and bismuth.

She said that a provoked urine test is more reliable but at the time (and now) funds were low.

We did Captomer and infrared saunas and then retested.

I was amazed that over a few month's time that the numbness and tingling in my feet and hands really decreased. I thought that this was the answer and that I was going to get better.

It wasn't the whole answer- Lyme was a big part that I didn't know yet.

I still do the saunas and am much more careful about what types of fish I eat. I grew up only eating seafood and veggies. I think I ate way too much canned tuna in college. I have also heard that somehow Lyme encourages you to hold onto heavy metals?
