My husband and I are just starting to research Rife machines. We have heard a lot of good things about them, but they also sound a little scary.
Are a lot of you out there using them?
It sounds like so much information to sift through. Is it possible to perform this treatment safely without being someone in the medical field?
How do you know where to begin to learn how to do this. I have Bryan Rosner's new book about it.
My Dr. saw that I had this book and got very excited about it, but said that he could not talk to me about it. That's scary to me, not having him watching over this treatment.
My husband is thinking of making the machine for me. I know someone who has a coil machine, which he says works well. This is probably the type that my husband would make.
If all we read about it is true, it seems like it could be a great thing. However, I would not look forward to months of horrible herx's.

This board tends to not be a major rife board. I have one and you can read about my approach at my site below. Also, there is a great Lyme group on Rife machines here: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Lyme-and-rife/

I agree with Scott, go the the other board for rife info. I will say that rifing has really saved me, where antibiotics did not. The coils machines work!
As far as safety goes, just don't use frequencies less than 100 htz near your head. Follow that rule and you shouldn't have a problem.

A nurse friend of mine spoke with the director of neuroradiology at a major Dallas hospital. He said that rife is not dangerous. He also said he feels there needs to be some scientific studies done to prove its effectivess. But since a MRI is not dangerous and it is basically a very strong rife machine, a rife machine will not hurt you (except to give you a herx).
I know Lymetoo will believe this, because she comes from TEXAS!
