I tried my first injection of methylcobalamin last week. I went to my sisters house to let her teach me how to inject it (she is a nurse).

I felt OK right away, so I drove home. Halfway there I had a pulsing feeling in my left eye that quickly turned into a dull migraine that lingered all day.

It wasd the day before my period when I am prone to migraines anyway. I had this happen with the sublingual type also. Anyone else have this reaction?

Cindy- this was interesting to see. I have been doing the b-12 injections too for about a month and have had more headaches too.I am currently experiencing a 3 day migraine- I am not going to do the shots for a few days to see if it helps.

I've been taking B-12 shots for about 9 months and haven't noticed anything different. I hope for your sake the shots aren't causing the headaches!

Well, I guess thats a toss-up. I will try it again when my week from he** is over!

I have done well with eliminating a lot of migraines, but not the hormonal ones. I hate to do anything that will cause more of them.

Thanks for your replies,
Cindy

Check the ingredients - does your injectable stuff ocntain aluminum? This could cause migraines.
