Hi all, My daughter has been under treatment for about 2 months and now her gall bladder is inflamed and she is nauseous all the time. She has strep and salmonella infections contributing also. Ultrasound test scheduled for next week but have you had experience with this?
You all led us to an excellent doctor. Thank you. McKale

Is she on IV? Many of us have lost our gallbladders to this disease or to the antibiotics. Usually IV is the biggest culprit.

I had what appeared to be a gall bladder attack, but I have no stones and no inflammation. My LLMD now suspects its the pancreas.
I have salmonella as well. It could be that the gall bladder is infected with the Lyme or salmonella, or it could be a reaction to the meds.
I have been seing a gastro to figure out why I had the attack and why I have nausea. So far, every test is negative. Except my pancreatic enzymes are up. That's why my LLMD thinks it's pancreatitis. Which can be caused by meds, but she also is suspecting Lyme or babesia can cause the problems itself.
I'm also getting a very comprehensive food allergy test done. It's a new lab with new testing methods. It's $$$, $600 for the full 350+ allergy tests, including heavy metal testing.
I don't have answers, but I feel your daughters pain and will continue to share what I learn about my condition.
