suddenly it's back again and it's VERY INTENSE after months and months of easy maintenance with acidophilus and a little oil of oregano from time to time and diet.
i think i have some nystatin left over from last year. need to catch it in the bud. anything else besides nystatin.
ewwwwwwww - it's so00000 grosss

starve them with the right diet. No dairy, sugar, refined starches.
Also make sure your probiotic is enteric coated to survive the stomach acid.

We've had good luck with Olive Leaf Extract from Now Foods -- work slowly up to the full dose if you want to avoid extreme die-off.

for killing an existing yeast problem , diflucan works the best for me.
nystatin helps me for maintance and is supposed to be good for the GI issues.
but I haven't had a vg yeast infection since I started theralac, which is a first for me,as I used to get them every month despite the no sugar low carb diet.
some people swear by the oregano oil but unfortunately gives me have indigestion.
hope you find some relief.
and make sure to talk over everything first with your LLMD
