Ive noticed a few of my old symptoms that i had pre lyme diagnosis in sept of 2005 are returning.

Two in particular.......eye pain and dizziness.

the dizziness is not as bad, but i can still sense it trying to come on stronger.

I know during a herx it is commong for old symptoms to reappear, but how about when you arent herxing but are on abx?

this is only my 2nd month on abx. My first month was December 2005 with doxy.had to stop due to yeast and other infections.

I hope I have this right. I believe it's common for your first symptoms to appear and then disappear with treatment. Then your newest symptoms will disappear.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong!

I thought a herx WAS old symptoms returning? NO?

IF not, what is a HERX in YOUR opinion? Exactly?

Jim.

For me a herx has been bladder paralyzation...which is only a symptom i have when i herx....my bladder is always involved but not as bad with the herx. All my muscles in the pelvic area tighten up.

I usually feel like I have a hangover when i herx too, headache, stiff neck...eyelid pain, sinus pain...lower back pain. It usually involves some new symptoms that i dont have daily, but old ones i had prior to treatment dont usually return. My bladder is always involved.

Im not sure if any of this makes sense.

A herx is when the keets throw off toxins as they die. [yea!] Sometimes a herx will involve new symptoms and sometimes old symptoms.

Hey,

"Im not sure if any of this makes sense."

It might not seem normal but it is for this disease. I found my symptoms to reverse from newest to oldest throughout my recovery but I also had some that I never knew I had. I don't belive there is a set pattern. Keep killing and very important, keep detoxing! Hang in there buddy!

All My Best,
Scott
