I have a throbbing that comes and goes in my right eye.

It feels like my eye has a heartbeat. No pain though.

I was wondering if anyone else had this.

I went to the eye dr and he said my eyes look healthy but it still makes me a little nervous.

Is it a nerve out of wack or something?

Thank You [dizzy]

azure, I feel lots of throbbing behind my eye. usually its only one at a time. If I don't take tylenol or advil it eventually turns into a headache. All my eye dr. saw was that my eyes were dry. My optic nerve and retinas were fine. My eyes have also looked glassy , they bother me alot

Could it be your blood pressure? Have you taken your pressure when you feel this throbbing?

My eyes are dry too... so dry in fact that my eye dr said I cant were contact lenses.

I use drops everyday to keep them moist.

I'll check my blood pressure next time ... my grandmom has a bloodpressure machine.

Usually my bloodpressure is low.

I have this. I can see and feel my heartbeat in my eye, especially my left eye. My blood pressure is normal. Opthamology exam was normal too.

I had this also. It's pretty much gone since being on abx for 6mos. [Big Grin]

Most of my eye problems have improved significantly or gone away, thank god! I had double vision, conjunctivitis, pain behind the eyeball, droopy eye, difficulty focusing and problems w/depth perception. My exams were mostly normal as well.

I've been on Ketek and Bicillin LA. What abx are you being treated w/and for how long?

Since fall of 04 i have been on ketek 800 mg 1xday and cefzil 500 mgs 2xday

I was on a bunch of stuff before that long list of stuff

(been in treatment since 2000.. had lots of complications and each time I had to go off abx for a few days my symptoms got much worse so I had to start over)

I did take my blood pressue it was ok.

I feel for you Azure. Wish I could do something to help you.

The symptoms of this illness defy imagination. Have you tried any alternative therapy? I know I plan to beat it any way I can within reason.

Have you tried Bicillin LA w/the Ketek? It seems to be working well for me. I read in the Hope to Heal Lyme notes that ScottF provided that Bicillin is rated next best to IV Rocephin for effectiveness.
