I think i really am going crazy.

Vfend- and antifungal similar to diflucan...is killing me. I have the same type of breathing problems i had on doxy and cedax...im sweating, dry mouth....and just feel like im herxing.

I stopped abx per my LLMD to treat with vfend for 7 days.

I know lyme woudnt come roaring back, but would stopping abx cause a coinfection to come roaring to the surface?

Im so worn out,,tired of this breathing...and dryness.

anyone have any clue?

I think it's possible when you make a change in abx that symptoms can come roaring back...whether it's Lyme or a co.

But maybe it's side effects? I'm taking Vfend and had some pretty weird side effects at first. For me it made me more awake! That was nice. [Smile]

Thanks lymefly.....this thirst i had while on diflucan last month...i stopped taking that and a few days later i was ok.

Vfend seems to have more strage side affects.

How long were you on Vfend? Im only on it for 14 days. After 7 im supposed to go back on cedax.

Of course all these symptoms could be lyme...so hard to tell.

Im glad it made you feel more awake :-)

I'm on it indefinitely...I have a chronic systemic yeast infection that won't budge.

It felt to me that Vfend is a very strong drug.

My breathing symptom let up...it comes and goes.

Couldn't it be a yeast herx?

ive thought of that.....and wonder if even when im on abx i have a yeast herx. Im on a strict no carb no sugar diet. I look like a twig, but i have to see if this works.

I dont think the yeast is the cause of all my problems though.
