At HOpe To Heal last weekend there was a booth with two women selling a modern day "rife" machine called the PERL. Does anybody have experience with this machine, and does it really work to irradicate lyme through sound and light waves?
Resonant Light was the name of the company, and I was just wondering if anybody else has had success with such a device.

I checked it out at their web site, www.resonantlight.com It is essentially a 27 MC/CB radio frequency carrier Rife device.
It is beleived that Rife actually used 4.5 MC as his carrier frequency. I have built one from his schematics and have verified the 4.5 MC carrier.
Most modern Rife devices either do not use a carrier frequency or they use 27MC as CB radio equipment is available and cheap.
I have never tested a device of this type but it is essentially a CB radio into a 100 watt linear amplifier into an argon tube. Maybe someday I will build one and test it out.
I suspect that 27MC would work as well as 4.5MC as the carrier. The carrier is stripped away by certain objects leaving the audio frequency.
Do you remember the days of AM radio where some people by their teeth or whatever method could listen to the radio station?
Somehow something in their bodies would strip the carrier leaving the audio (sound) demodulated neer enough to their ears that they could actually listen to the radio station.
This happened many times back in the days of High power Am radio stations.

I remember that television repairmen had a habit of going bald back in the high powered tube days.........
The James Beck device seems interesting, I just saw his 2 hour presentation. He died in 2003 in his 70's I believe. Anyway plans are on the web for it.
