Just wanted to post this here because everyone who answered my last post was so helpful.
Couple of Major things first. I have tested positive for co-infection. Which explains so many things over the years as for the last 7 years my symptoms, though mild have felt like a "different" kind of Lyme.
Secondly even though I have tested positive twice for Lyme, this time there were only two bands. So I guess the co-infection is really active right now and boy do I feel it.
Thirdly, Doc looked at MRI's which I was told were probably MS and said it was Lyme. I have had Lyme for so many years , and so was poorly treated that , that is the result.
He is putting me on Lavaquin for one month, and then Doxy too and then IV for however long.
I now have a better understanding of why Duck's diagnose us with MS. They get shoddy info from Lobbyists trying to prove that chronic Lyme doesn't exist so that Insurance companies and Housing markets in highly affected areas don't lose money. Wow is that awful!
I feel much more certain that I do not have MS, but I think it will take a while to get over the damage of the duck.
I wanted to thank everyone for there posts about MRI's. I am so touched that there are people like all of you who care so much, to make otheres feel better.
Is there anybody out there with the same kind of story and how are you doing now?
Thanks again with all my heart.

Isn't that just the worst!! Just think how this happens every single day in this country!!
I'm glad you got things straightened out in your mind at least. Now we'll pray for a speedy recovery!

The thing about ducks is....they treat by tests. They love tests. If the test fits, you got it, if it doesn't, you don't. They can't look outside the book. I found this out the hard way.
I had bullseye rashes in 1992. I had a relapse that started on 5/05. I have bad neuro symptoms, twitching, numbness, tingling, weakness etc....amongst other things. I saw 3 neuro's. All my MRI's and test for MS came back normal or else I would have gotten that diagnosis as well.
They just don't have a clue what I have. I mentioned lyme to all 3 of them. None new anything about it.
I did get the fibro diagnosis though.
Anyway, I wish the best to you.

LA, thanks for the update; glad you found out of your co-infections so they can be treated too.
Also, wanted to give you a hard time about having a drs. appt. on Sunday! How many other docs work on Sun? lol
