Been doing this for two years...found a post here about it and started...my "swishes" are quite clear unless I have been on abx and have a sudden die-off where I get more 'milky' after 10 minutes. Instead of snorting the soda/salt water afterwards, I use a neti pot with soda/salt water in both nostrils and this is my morning routine before ingesting or doing anything else! I haven't had a candida or bad breath problem since, never had a yeast infection since, and my numbers on babs/bart/ehrlichia/lyme have been going down with no other reason behind it. I FULLY believe in oil pulling, and organic sunflower is what I've used.
Once we are free of toxins, it's amazing what wonderous things we can experience in life that we had never smelled/tasted before! Our senses are magnified by a million!
One other thing, in the beginning, I had a grayish color to the oil, and was told that was from heavy metals. Dunno, just know what I've personally experienced. I have not had any ill side effects that I know of!
Happy swishing!

Anyone feel their teeth move after doing this?
One odd thing, that could be unrelated..but I had braces a while ago as an adult. After I oil pulled...my teeth started to abruptly shift back to the old condition...it made me nervous about ever oil pullng again.
Just wondering if the oil moves into the root...causing movement if they were originally moved with braces?

Woah. Was already to do this until I read your post lightparfait. I am desperately trying to save my teeth
as I have tooth enamel eroding at the gum line. Have had back teeth literally crmble out of my mouth from this disease.
I have spent a ton of money on my teeth over the yrs to no avail. I have a dental appt Feb 15th.
I was hoping that this would tighten my teeth like Mo reported about a man in another post here. This disease is a beast!!!

"While sucking the oil, the human salivary glands produce saliva, and with that saliva, the body dumps toxins. During this time, the stomach produces digestive juices, expecting the oil to be swallowed. The liver starts producing bile, expecting the oil to be swallowed. In that bile, the liver dumps heavy metals and some other toxins. Oil sucking will cause a production of bile, and it will increase excretion of bile. That way it will improve digestion, intestinal health, colon health, and prevent constipation."
This makes sense that it would fool the body into getting ready to eat/digest and produce all the stuff to do so, but I'm wondering why you couldn't swish any other food or liquid substance around in your mouth to get the same effect? Why oil?
