Hello everyone.

wondering if anyone has developed white spots on fingernails since their lyme diagnosis.

I notice i have a lot of these and i was told that other than bruising of the nailbed and calcium deficiency, they could mean other things...

just trying to link them to something because it's weird that all of a sudden i have them.

yep i have them. At first i thought everyone did until i saw it on my LLMD symptoms sheet.

Earl Mendell says in his book "The Vitamin Bible," that these spots indicate a Zinc shortage. I have read many different explanations for them over the years, and there doesn't seem to be much agreement on the cause.

I still have them inspite of taking zinc/cal/mag/copper and trace mineral supplements. I have also noticed that the white half moons at the base of my nails has almost dissappeared. They use to be quite large.
