My son has recently been very itchy, nauseated, and last weekend his eyes and face became very swollen for 2 days. He has been getting treatment for Lyme for 2 years now. Currently on 1500mg Tetra. At first I thought he may have had an ellergic reaction to "something?", but now I'm wondering if this is connected to Lyme.Does anyone have any input on this. I'd appreciate it.THanks and God Bless Gift

I hope you have contacted the doc. If you haven't you need to ASAP! This sounds like an allergic reaction to me. If it is not, it certainly sounds like stopping the med would be in order. That's what I would do if it was me.
Please contact the doc.
Please keep us posted, Karen

Not to discount the possible allergy, but I get extremely itchy all over with a systemic yeast infection and also during the first part of yeast die-off -- like full body itching. Could that be the problem?
