My western blot results from IGX came back and here are the results ... please share your thoughts on whether this indicates that I have lyme.

IGM result:
23-25 -
30 +
31 IND
34 -
39 IND
41 ++

all other bands are "-". Also I tested negative for Baronella and Babesiosis (so no co-infections).

Some doctors say that 30 is Bb specific. 31 and 39 definitely are. I would see this as a likely positive test and with clinincal symptoms,
I would argue treatment is warranted.

Also, coinfection testing is similar. May be negative at first and as your immune system recovers, they may become positive. Definitely happened to me on a couple of the coinfections.

Was the blood drawn after a round of antibiotics?
(if not, then the test should be repeated AFTER a stint on abx)

Do you have symptoms of Lyme?

yes have symptoms (twitching, some fatigue, some joint pain) but nothing like some of the horror stories (I mean that in a sympathetic way please) that I've heard of others on this board. i have pulled 3 ticks off me in the past near 2 years and have always been a very healthy and not sick person ... so LLMD thinks that my body has fought the disease maybe better than most but that it is now catching up to me. the WBlot was done pre-abx and i've now been on Biaxin/Plaq for 3 weeks with what seems like improvement (although since my symptoms are not so debilitating I wonder if I might have just been dealing with stress, anxiety, etc. and that "treating" my problem is helping me psychologically feel better .... which is why the WBlot results are just more frustration as from what I know my results do not unequivocally say I do have lyme). thanks for all of your comments.

Never say no to co-infections. There are many others...

Band 41 and symptoms could be enough for diagnosis with the proper number of rule outs performed.

my IGG was exactly the same as my IGM except that band 34 was "IND" instead of "-" on the IGM.

been on abx (Biaxin and Plaq) for 3 weeks and first few days were worse than I felt a lot better and then right at 3 weeks (past few days) the tingling, hot pains and joint soreness is back. maybe the abx is working?

I'm on the same abx combo for about 7 weeks. Just saw the LLMD yesterday. He said there is usually a reaction around 3 weeks with this combo.
