sugar vs sugar alcohol ... are they both no-no's for yeast free and sugar free diet? I notice a bunch of "sugar-free" foods have small traces of "sugar alcohol" and not sure if it's okay to consume sugar alcohol. also, anyone know of any ice cream that is sugar-free and okay to eat (just dying to have ice cream that i haven't had for almost a month since starting abx). thanks

not stupid question at all.
Sugar alcohols you have to be careful about too.
It is the rate in which the sugar is released into your blood stream. High alcohol levels mean there is a high spike in suagr in your blood stream...that alterts the BB.
