Hi guys:

Decided to give Oreganol a try. I know others have used it to treat yeast. Wondering if anyone has tried it strictly to treat Lyme.

I started it almost a week ago and have gotten the same flair (herx?) that I usually get at the outset of Abx.

I'm wondering if anyone's seen success using this to treat the Lyme?

Hi Dave,

You should look at the essential oils thread. Oreganol is basically made with essential oil of oregano. Essential oils have antibiotic properties and can induce herxes.

Hi Dave,

Which dosage do you take? I just bought Oreganol myself and wonder how much to take.

How bad is the herx?

Hi Gabrielle:

I put 6 drops in a little juice twice a day. Directions say put some drops under the tongue but, I tried that and it burns like fire [Eek!]

As far as killing yeast...I just came of a 2 month trial of Diflucan so I don't think I'm killing yeast.

My herx has been pretty intense. Similar to what I experienced when I first went on Tetra almost 2 years ago. [shake]

Yikes! I think I'll start at 2 times 2 drops a day - I'm a chicken... [Eek!]
