Hi All,

I passed the 6 month of tx mark, weaker and worse off.

I think in large part caused by my habitual grapefruit 2x day that not only increased doxy effectiveness but also limited ability to detox severely.

All cleared up now, thanks cholysterymine. Replaced grapefuit with fresh organic dandelions as my main inredient in breakfast smoothie, I feel waaay better.

Previosly I was declining on doxy/flagyl/tini due to lg bacteria load and detox issues. Now that I seem to be stable and able, LLMD switched me to ketek.

The ketek is like -relief-, I am able to tolerate it at 800mg day just fine after 10days.

I am weak like a mouse, have little balance, cannot speak ledgibly. Ketek improved my swallowing and facial numbness in a few days.

Qustion, should I add another abx? I have tini, flagyl and flucanazole. Just want to kno compatability and effectiveness.

Hi Quai.

It must be tick season -- the posts are flyin' by!

The six month mark seems to be a turning point for a lot of us. I'm glad it is for you, too. Ketek is working wonders for a lot of people. Your doc is keeping a close watch on your liver, I'm sure.

I'm bumping this for others who may have some ideas on Ketek combinations; it hasn't been in my arsenal.

Hope you keep improving.

Michelle

Thanks Michelle,

I am leanin towards adding Flucanazole 200mg and Tinidazole 1-1.5g

I am also on alot of garlic and CSM.

Just mainly wondering Ketek's compatability with the above.

I was on Ketek 400mg BID along w/ Bicilln LA 1.2mu IM once a week for the past 6 mos or so and improved a lot. Now my Ketek is going to be switched to Tindamax, but I'll continue on the PCN.
