I would say OK with Bicillin because my llmd just ordered the injections for me and knows I am taking Milk Thistle. Have been on one/day for years. When I had a little glitch in my hepatic panel, I went to 2/day. Took care of that glitch nicely.
I have the American Pharmaceutical Assn. "Practical Guid to Natural Medicines", which I highly recommend. They give it their highest rating (1), and state that no interactions have been noted. Most of the studies on this come from Germany.

We(3 of us) took Milk thistle with biaxin, but at least two hours away from it. With Biaxin just one dose a day, we could take it a long time away.

Milk Thistle is neither an antibiotic, nor a PRObiotic, so I just took it along with my abx and herbs all at the same time.
Later when I was on Acidophilus, I took the abx at a different time than the herbs. Usually two hours before and after the herbs.
I still take Milk Thistle along with Red Root, along with my herbs. I take no abx at this time.
