ALL NEGATIVE!

I had a complete panel done. Everything says Negative.........

Babesia Microti IgG by Elisa 0.35

On the report from MDL it states the bands that must be present in order for a + result.

According to what MDL lists, and what I had +, ++, IND from Igenex, then I am + for Lyme.

Could it have been all the Tetra in my blood that made it hard to detect?

Thanks,

I have never had one positive band from MDL lab, and I've been tested there at least twice, maybe 3 times.

I have had bands that where "suspicious for lyme disease" from Igenex and Stonybrook (bands: 18, 30, 34, 39 and 93).

I was negative too through MDL for the coinfections and so were my three kids. That's most of my problem! If my doctors in NJ had run the Igenex Babs tests for IGM/IGG and FSH they would have found the Babs sooner. I was diagnosed with Lyme in 2002 and spent 3 years not diagnosed with the Lyme. Make sure you are thoroughly tested for co-fections! Through my family's experience MDL's results were hurtful to us!

DO not rely on them! My one son had the Babs, my daughter Bartonella and my other son Myco. None were picked up on their June MDL tests last year. All other tests done through Igenex and Dr. J. were positive. Just my experience- but think others probably are going through the same!

I agree, of the known labs for TBDs, MDL is at the lower-end of my list. IGeneX and Immunosciences would be first and second, in that order.

My llmd sent my blood to MDL to test for mycoplasms. When they came back and they were all negative she commented on never getting a positive from MDL.

I have had positive and very similar results from both MDL and igenex.

What were your Igenex results? can you post them? I thought you had some done thru igenex right?

The ABX shouldnt have messed up the test as far as I know.

Did the test give an IgM result for babesia?
Have you tried Bowen for Babesia? yes, why not use IgeneX?

Stay away from Stonybrook. I had good experience with MDL and have never been tested by IgeneX.

Does anyone but MDL test for mycoplasma? I am also worried about the number of negatives they are turning out these days.

sorry, I too tested 4 times negative for babesia and bart.

LLMD was shocked. Yet still I awoke in severe pain in my feet and body.

So he put me on rifampin, nothing.!

So he said its the lyme and maybee some yeast there.

Wow sounds like a good meal, lyme with a side of yeast please

I have a signed req and a mdl lab kit. Doc told me to not have it drawn for mycoplasm until I was off abx for 6 weeks.
She also said to let her know before I had it drawn so she could add to the slip if she needed to [Roll Eyes]
