On meds for a year and a half and don't feel much better- lots of $$$$ Lost my NP and have NO ONE else.
Started Buhner's protocol and that's lots of $$$$ too!! I spent over $100 in HALF the supply and it didn't even last a month.I looked into the bulk items but I have no idea how far a pound goes of this stuff in order to make the investment.
I went to see a gastro who OF COURSE, needs more tests in order to diagnose even gastritis....you got it, more $$$$$
I hurt my "trigger thumb" and got another hand brace and a box of steroids....$$$$$ and stupidity, since I'm taking the steroids anyway! Maybe SOMETHING will get better.
All the crap I take for fatigue doesn't help so someone smuggles in these huge B-12 shots from Mexico....so now I'm poor and a criminal!!
I need to see a cardiologist since I have arrythmias and serious heart disease history in the family....more tests, more $$$$
It takes me over a half hour to arrange my ridiculous weekly drug supply............and then I have a very hard time swallowing the pills.
I'm REALLY tired of it!
I know health comes before everything else- but I need to feed my kids, and at these rates, I can't continue treating myself- or flying out of state to seek medical attention or searching for someone who doesn't take my insurance.
I don't want to say that I'm giving up- I prefer calling it "giving in"....a friend had these cardio problems and was being treated by an MD when all of a sudden, having nothing to do with her problem in itself, her heart just stopped beating. So if something that unpredicitable can happen, why spend all the money for tests and meds? Whoever invented the phrase "Prevention is worth a pound of cure" or something like that- didn't know how darn expensive and depressing it can be.
My brain is so fried that even my 4th graders know the answers to Math problems before I do- that no longer is funny!
I GIVE IN!!

I'm not a doctor so take this as you may, but I was like you a long while back and stopped taking medicine. My body rebalanced and began to improve on it's own. Oh, it was bad for the first few years, but to be honest I felt no worse/better on/off anti-biotics which also comes with a host of problems. Everything we do to our bodies to a certain extent rails against it, throws it into imbalance. I have no doubt I'd be dead without the first 18 months of anti-biotics I did but I've been off them for a decade now, still have lyme, but much better now than I was back then. It's scary coming off the meds but for me it worked.
I feel for you man, I have 3 kids too, I just want to live long enough to where their ok on there own. No doubt I'll pass on earlier than if I didn't have this for sure.
God made the body to be an incredible healing machine, never under-estimate the power of it alone.
