For me, I have found two things that will stop a herx in its tracks, at least the intestinal kind of herxing.
My favorite is charcoal. I just take 5-6 charcoal pills and within the hour I can move off the floor. The charcoal basically vacuums up all the toxins and keeps them from being reabsorbed into your system. This is what they use in the ER for some drug OD's, etc. Very effective.
The second thing is a probiotic product called Bio-K Plus. About 5 bucks a pop, but it's a little tub of probiotic yumminess and also stops an intestinal herx within an hour for me.
Hope you feel better,
Alison

gentle streching and limited exercise will help muscle tissue pump the toxins out. The key is frequent rather than a lot at any one time.
