Me too...and this morning I came in via a back door.
This is how I did it:
I went in thru a "back door". Via a google search for lymenet and you will see the below.
It looks like this:

The lymenet computer people were probably doing some site work. In the past this has related to chopping older posts or adding new equipment.

I tried the same as Marnie and couldn't get in that way, either, yesterday. This morning it's working.
Wonder if anyone will mention why?
The navy thing is the best answer so far.

i thought the Navy hacked my computer too
I was able to find some other lyme sites that were very helpful though. More people out there have my symptoms then i realize...so all was good.
Sure glad it is working again though

I couldn't get in either. I had been talking to my sister-in-law the day before and she was telling me about a rash her daughter had last year - but dismissed because it wasn't the classic bulls-eye. I wanted to send her the rash link.
Her daughter lives in the Bershires. All of her kids and grandkids, and she and her hubby, all live in high Lyme areas and I was asking her if they were diligent about checking for tics. She said she nagged them often.
A weird coincidence is that her son-in-law grew up in Arizona and is suffering from "Valley Fever". Symptoms much like Lyme, with pneumonia thrown in for good measure.

No explaination? That is not fair to any of us. Lymenet vanishes for a day and members are left in the dark. Where did all the money we raised go? Nobody moderates the forums, and our questions are ignored. Private messages to the moderators are ignored. Not just this weekend, for months. Since nobody responds to email or private messages who is in charge, I have to post it here. What is going on?

I was not able to access site either. Two ladies who are also posted on this board who have become good lyme friends also had problems and couldn't log onto site either. I don't know why this was posted in medical except that most people usually read this section. I am glad that we are back online today. Perhaps something was wrong with the website. If not, if it was site maintenance, perhaps, the moderators could post a message when we are down? Anyway, Glad to see everybody back. Don't feel as alone.

me too; I missed it sa well; was going to print off some links.
My personal observation is this, and I posted it shomewhere else on medical.
Angela & Lou Bachman family had a death in the family; her Dad's funeral was Sat. or Sun. All the moderators are FAMILY members; so they all suffered a loss. Don't know about who Toby is?
They are going to grief, loss, sorrow, and starting to write on sympathy acknowledgements, food given, money, moving any personal effects their loved one had if in a nursing home, etc. So much to do in a short amount of time.
Also read some conflict notes like Wild Condor's above. Lou B has shut down the board when something like this occurs to "cool people down" and be civil to one another.
So that is MY personal opinion on this.
Do you remember how bad it got before Lou and Angela came back to moderate? I do; it stunk! So let's be greatful for what we do have ok.

Hi guys: I didn't know all moderators were family members and the funerals were this weekend. I had sent moderator Jennifer a pm. She didn't seem to know that the website was having problems yesterday. I think that we should give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps, the website was down and it was unnoticed because moderators weren't here and God bless them attending to their own family issues and grief. I hope we don't get shutdown. This website is my link to the world with where I am at with aggressive lyme and aggressive cos'. Glad we are back up today.
