i used to get this feeling a lot a few months ago, and now it is back.

I feel like im malnutritioned or something. I thought maybe low blood sugar, but i dont think it is that.

i feel woozy especially in my head...weak and like im lacking some nutrient, but cant figure out what?

Maybe hormone related???

i wonder if somehow this could be a babs symptom since i just started taking art.

How is your blood pressure? Do you take supplements, at least a mulitvitamin? My doc recommends Centrum (I buy the generic)

thanks i didnt think about blood pressure, i bet that was it. i have low blood pressure. Gets real low while herxing.

im taking garlic, oil of oregano, caprylic acid, and an immune booster and of course lots of probiotics.

i cant take multivitamins because they burn my bladder....so i try to eat lots of veggies to compensate.

i dont have as much as that feeling now...but now my bladder is acting up. never a symptom free moment.

i also wonder if i might be starting to herx on the art possibly.

Hi Can't

If your bladder is acting up try to add in Cranberry concentrate. It's best if you take it before bedtime and drink alot of H20.

If you don't have enough fluids in your body your blood pressure will drop!

You will also loose electrolytes if you have a bad case of the got to go (runs) [toilet]

hope you feel well soon [hi]

im feeling much better today, i dont know what to make of it. I woke up early AM feeling horrible..like i do when i herx on abx...BUT im not on abx. Maybe the Art, who knows.

im seeing a glimer today of what my old life was like, of course im 10lbs thiner and a skeleton.

I cant take anything cranberry as it makes things worse because im pretty sure i have IC (test to be run on the 17th)

I am making sure i drink more water today. Something is messed up because i gain weight and then loose it overnite, i suspect water weight. sigh

Has your iron been checked?

I've been iron deficient and going iron anemic every month for years and didn't know it until two months ago. Can't hurt to have it checked (since they usually draw some blood to check something or other, anyway!).

Iron deficiency makes you feel washed out, light headed and can cause headaches (frontal).

mizmo- what is a good check for iron levels. I was told the RBC would show if i was defficent.

Im back to feeling like crap again today, bladder burning...slight heart palp. Last nite before bed i had some sweats. it was warm in my room though.

i dunno. its just too complex for me to figure out. im not on abx just antifungal and art and supliments.

If your blood pressure is too low

you might want to think about adding more salt. But go slow.

Since babs is in your red blood cells, you can have similar symptoms to anemia when you are treating the babs. And if I remember, you don't want to take iron while on Artemisinin.

I've felt that generally feeling of malnutrition on different treatments. My blood pressure is also low. I have a history of anemia, but my levels have been fine in recent years.

I try to keep very well hydrated, get plenty of sleep and stay away from sugars and carbs to keep my blood sugar level.

Hi, I removed a previous post on iron levels until I get a chance to research it (what a fun project for the week).

Good luck with the arte.

Glad you didn't take the cranberry juice until you get the IC diagnosed. Definitely a no no. Of course I didn't know that when I first started having difficulties with my bladder and tried to self medicate with gallons of cranberry juice!!!(artificially sweetened no less-also a no no for IC) Maybe it helped speed up the process by putting me in so much misery I was desperately seeking answers-and got them sooner than later!
I feel like I am lacking something,too- my life as it was.
Bugged in Balto,
