Given Rob's recent bad experience on the combo, I am a bit anxious about starting my combo of P+B. We both see Dr D.

Last night I took my 1st combo and I feel fine so far. I will update this thread as things progress (or not).

Hey Feesher.

I am starting my 2nd week of this combo. It was very hard on my guts, however this was the same as the last time I switched to it.

Today is day 7 and I am doing fine. I saw most of my dramatic improvement on this combo. I hope this cycle really wipes out more of the keets.

It would have been nice if it had worked for Rob. But as he said we all resond differently.

Take care and peace.

I see the same doc and have the opposite response as Rob.

Last summer I was on biaxan & plaquenil and actually had hope for the future.

Was able to do a few things around the house & read novels for the first time in years.

Dec I started tetra and it put me to the ground for the 3+ months I was on it. Taking a bath once a week was a major chore.

Back on biaxan & plaquenil and Im feeling better again. There is hope!!!

We are all individuals and different meds will affect us differently.

I have been on Biaxin and Plaquenil (different LLMD) for 2 1/2 years. It is very effective for me and I have not had any problems with it.

I had really amazing improvement on this combo (was also on Minocycline at the same time).

I was actually astonished at the difference it made.

The nausea I'd had for many years went away and took the knee pain with it!

Hopefully you will get great results, too. Keep us posted.

Update... I think it's been 2 or 3 weeks on P&B. No issues (side effects) whatsoever but too soon to notice any improvements.

All my bad symptoms that came out on Biaxin and Plaquenil were likely a bart herx. I had burning in my quad muscles, pain in my hips, and very intense pain in the bottoms of my feet.

I am new here, what kind of problems were people having?

My daughter has been on it for 3 weeks. She had pretty bad abdominal pain before she started, and it hasn't really gotten any better.

Some days, like today, are worse than others.
