My husband's llmd recently switched his meds. He is taking Leviquin and Septra. He did okay,
and I say this reluctantly, (better than he has been), for the first part of the week but, today he's vomiting, has severe rib pain, flu-like feeling, and severe nausea. I'm
not that lyme literate and was wondering if any
of you think this is possibly a herx? Could this
be a reaction to the meds? It's a little unnerving.

Took our dog to the Vet this week and he tested positive for lyme! This is crazy. We live in the southeastern part of Virginia, the Vet said that lyme is becoming more prevalant here -- Imagine that.

I can't say for sue its a herx it could be....all those issues are lyme symptoms

also could be the meds are bothering his stomach nausea and vomitting from the med and the rib pain from vommiting...

you siad he took it for a few days with no problem so I would think a herx would be the more likely answer.

- Just the opinion of a fellow lymie patient

Best wishes
