I tried something new with Xango.

I put it in plain non-fat yogurt with a little stevia and it tasted SO GOOD.

I think the Xango may be helping my energy level.

If you use Xango, you have to try it.

I love Xango. When I used to see a naturopath who has chronic Lyme and treats many Lyme patients, she was the one who got me started on it.

It tastes great but has a low amount of sugar, which is surprising given how sweet it tastes.

I haven't tried it on yogurt - I will. Stevia is the sweetener I use, so I've got all the ingredients to try your suggestion!

I started the Mangosteen juice (by XanGo) a couple of weeks ago. So far, I've tried other things like Reliv -- didn't help me but when a friend in my karate class told me about this juice, I asked her if I could buy a bottle from her - she's a distributor but only so she can get it at cost.

I kid you not -- in two days -- my husband made the comment, "I have a new wife, You're not depressed and you have energy!"

I was shocked too. I'm not one of those placebo people because nothing else has helped me like this. I had also tried Isagenex.

I've been out gardening and having fun with more energy than I've had in years.

I'm waiting for it to hit the inflammation because Mangosteen juice is known for that.

I'm sold on it -- it does taste yummy. I can't wait to take the next glass of it.

Oh, one other thing, its beginning to help my allergies. The lady I bought it from said it probably wouldn't kick in until the Fall allergy season but its helping already.

Gosh, I can't believe its happening to me. My husband said he can read all the testimonials in the world and he's skeptical but when its his own wife -- then he knows it works.

By the way - he's on it too and has more energy. Its just unbelievable.

Sandy (sorry, I'm just excited)

What dose? I bought some and take a couple of swigs a day -- but not a whole glassful ... I do have more energy and less pain, but I have been thinking the mepron is doing that ....

Jeff

I am new to the xango but I had been doing and it was reccomended I take 1 oz... 3 times a day.

Taken with some food/ something like 6 almonds and to drink extra water durning the day.- helps the absorbtion.

Take care

Jordan, sounds great! I'll have to put some in my kefir! Don't think I'll need the stevia though!

I could brag all day about what this product has done for me, but someone told me they were tired of hearing about it!! [Big Grin]

Jeff - My naturopath had me take one ounce in the morning and one at night (I use a shotglass to measure and drink out of - given that I drink no alcohol with Lyme and antibiotics, this is the only reason I have to use a shotglass!)

But she said that some of her cancer patients were on much higher doses, so she said I could use more, and sometimes when I was very toxic, I went up to about four ounces a day.

Dana - She always had me take it on an empty stomach if I could - use it more like medication - but I will try it with some almonds.

By the way, anyone can sign up to be a distributor just to get it for yourself at the distributor's price. That's what I did. I have never purchased any to resell to someone else and they have never hassled me about buying small amounts.

Yes, Jill. The MD's I've spoken to recommend taking it with a small amount of food so that all the enzymes can be assimilated.

Cancer patients often take a bottle a day!

Thanks!

I have found if I don't take 2 ounces, 4 times a day, I don't have energy like I do with the higher amount. I've tried going lower and each time, the next day I don't feel as good.

Sandy and lymetoo,

I was just wondering about the sugar in Xango. I know it lists that the sugar content is 2g but that is for only one ounce. So, if you are drinking 4oz a day thats a lot of sugar.

When i was fighting yeast really bad, i couldnt drink it. I think it lists that it can be used against fungal infections?

My yeast situation is MUCH better, but, im still very careful.

I do think im feeling better on the Xango and i LOVE the way it tastes. It reminds me of a virgin strawberry margarita.

Jordan,

I have to watch out for yeast also. I sip it and make sure I have some protein (I love Cashew butter) with it.

Someone told me Candex helped her a lot and she takes XanGo so I've jut gotten mine in the mail.

It does taste absolutely wonderful instead of all that yucky stuff we've had to endure trying different treatments.

A friend of mine had a bottle given to her and she doesn't want it, so she said I could have it.

Might as well try it - you can't hardly beat "free".... [Big Grin]

Thanks for the testimonials, folks... I was excited to hear that it might help with inflammation and detox.....

Blackbird...Here is some info and links:

Mangosteen benefits

2. Protects the heart muscle
3. Anti-Parkinson, anti-Alzheimer and other forms of dementia
4. Anti-depressant....gives sense of well-being
5. Prevents and arrests fungus
6. Prevents bacterial infections
7. Anti-viral

8. Prevents gum disease
9. Anti-diarrheal
10. Lowers fevers
11. Prevents glaucoma and cataracts
12. Pansystemic...has a synergistic effect on the whole body
13. Anti-fatigue...has energy boosters

19. Lowers blood pressure

21. Blood sugar lowering
22. Anti-inflammatory

See the research!

www.mangosteenmd.com

Testimonials:
www.mangosteenexperiences.com

Here is info on the sugar content [all natural fruitose] "The carbohydrate count in mangosteen juice is 3 grams per ounce--that equals the carbohydrates found in about 1/8 of an apple--TINY AMOUNT!.....

Even in the very carb-restricted high protein diets, Atkins and others, because mangosteen with the pericarp [rind] contains a high level of fiber, the level of digestible carbohydrates is even lower than 3 grams per ounce,

probably more like 1.5. So, takin 2-3 oz per day of mangosteen juice should not interfere with any high protein, or diabetic diet."

[this is from a book I have on the mangosteen]

I have found the sugar content to not be a problem as long as I keep the ounces to around 3- 5 per day and am careful not to add other sugars.

With all the benefits from the mangosteen, it's well worth staying away from other sugars!

blackbird: Mangosteen contains more than 40 Xanthones....more than any fruit known to man. The closest to the mangosteen fruit in xanthones is blueberries, which have 1 or 2 xanthones!

There are only 200 found in nature that scientists know about. It is the xanthones that have all the above actions [see list]. This list is far from being complete. The complete list is truly amazing!!!

Tracy,

Make sure you turn the bottle upside a couple of times as all the good stuff is on the bottom.

Also, the company says to give it 90 days for best results so one bottle may not do much.

It did give me energy immediately and lifted my depression but I don't know if that's the norm.

Happy drinking -- its so good!

Thanks, Sandy. I could not remember how long a bottle would last.... I'm sure one bottle would not be enough for a good trial, but some people have posted results with fatigue within a few days, so we shall see.....

I just wish Xango were a little more affordable. Those darned multi-level marketing systems seem to make things more expensive than they should be.

Tracy,

I agree with you 100% and normally I wouldn't have anything to do with them. The "problem" with XanGo is it is such an awesome product.

You're right -- someone is making mega bucks on it. I'm not pushy so I don't know how I will do but I do know this --- I am feeling better than I have in many years. So, I'd almost cut off my arm (well, that would hurt) to keep getting this stuff.

I guess the way people do it is like Lymetoo, she has a wonderful business and a lot of people under her because the product is so good. That's the way to afford it.

The fact that they've moved up to #5 on MLM companies in 4 years is unheard of. Avon #1 - 98 years, Amway #2 - 40 years, 2 others - forgot their names and then XanGo #5 - 4 years.

They also give 7% of their profits to a children's fund.

Anyway -- I love it -- if it keeps doing this well, I'll keep using it. Its only been 3 weeks for me. I need to write down as each thing starts to improve. So far I've had 3 major improvements.

This product is priceless if you ask me. I would be VERY upset if I could no longer take the mangosteen....I can't even tell you how upset I would be.

[like karatelady, I would rather cut off a limb than be without this stuff!]

Many people find that they are able to stop taking some medications once they've been on the product awhile. I've cut out at least 6 meds now.

I've stopped taking antibiotics, Flonase, antihistamines, neurontin, Ambien, and pain pills! Saves alot of money! [and also saves my kidneys and my liver!]

I know some who have dropped as many as 10 meds!!! Of course, this does not happen overnight!!!!

Anyway, I love it!

Karate...We'll be #4 by the end of this year. We expect to pass up Herbalife. [and PS...we've only been around 3 1/2 yrs]

If I could get off these anti-inflammatories for my back pain, that would probably be enough to keep me buying the Xango.

Samento is supposed to help with inflammation, but mine has gotten worse since I started the Samento 5 months ago. So been on the anti-inflamms for nearly a month now.

Well, the Xango is sure worth a shot, especially now that I have heard from REAL PEOPLE - Lymies even! - that it has helped them.

DIDN't help me one bit. I think it was a waste of money. And I do not agree that it is low in sugar.

I know other people with Lyme that tried it too and they are still very sick. One guy that sells it himself doesn't even take it anymore but still promotes it so sell. Remember folks that some Lymies here are promoting the product because they sell it for their home business. Just approach with caution like all other natural products touting cures.

I tried Reliv for several months, it didn't help, I tried Isagenex for several months, nothing - nada.

I took XanGo and the second day as I wrote above, I felt better and I'm not one who gets the placebo affect. My husband said he wouldn't believe anyone else but when he sees his wife with less depression and fatigue and pain starting to get better, he's a believer.

He started it two weeks ago and he has more energy. No one can take that away from us.

Snowflake, I have very few people it doesn't work for. I think Lymies are a tough nut to crack.... but it works for those who are willing to give it the time it takes to work for THEM.

Not everyone responds in three days or three weeks. For some it takes 6 months. I'm still improving while on it and I've been on it for 2 yrs now. Our bodies can heal themselves with a little bit of help!

Everyone is different. I "sell it" because it worked for me and for almost everyone who tried it. I have heard stories that are simply amazing. I know these people.

I'm not a liar and neither are they.

PS...Could it be working in ways you are not aware of? Building your immune system cell by cell?
PSPS... It's not a cure for Lyme.

Too,

I know this has been addressed other places, but I just don't have the stamina to search for it :

I've been tryuing to ward-off candida and am wondering whether Xango can make that worse or if the sugars are low enough not to exacerbate anything in that direction.

I'm considering an order.

Thanks!

Andie

Andie....It contains 2 grams of fructose in each ounce. Most people only need 1 to 3 oz per day. So that would be a very small amount of sugar.

As long as you watch your other sugars, etc you will do fine. I have a constant problem with yeast that I've had since before Lyme treatment.

I try to keep my dosage to around 4-6 oz per day....but I'm not on abx anymore. You would be wise to keep it lower than that since you are on abx.

PS...the fructose is not added....it's from the juices added to make it taste good. The rind of the fruit which contains all the "action"...the xanthones...is very bitter. There is no sugar added.

Andie,

When I first started taking the juice I had to sip it slowly for say, 10 minutes or it would hurt my stomach. That didn't last long and now I can drink it normally.

I also take probiotics and digestive enzymes which helps my candida a lot.
