I worked with it for a couple of months and eventually it reminded me of being on brain stimulants such as ritalin or adderal. There would be times I would notice I was getting dingy and it just didn't feel right for me. Loved the results at first though as it does wake up the brain.
Perhaps there are others that have been on it for longer periods with more to say.

I was one of his original guinea pigs for this and I think he has tweaked it since I tried a year ago.
It increased my seizures big time, but I believe Biting Back has had some success. Hiker

Dr C.'s neurotransmitter therapy saved my sanity. I was sinking into deep depression from Lyme, but it completely changed how I think and feel. It may be expensive, but the results were outstanding for me. It has helped me get over Lyme. I feel like a new person since I started it!
Let me know if you have any questions. I hope you decided to at least try it.

I should say that I ordered my supplements from vitacost and it was not expensive to do. I just tried the protocol a few months ago. I think at first it was a more expensive protocol to follow. Its worth a try if you find it affordable and can fit it in your budget. I sometimes take some when I need a energy and mental edge. I just don't feel its for me to do everyday.

Would you mind telling me which test you took to determine the proper neurotransmitter therapy. Who is the company doing the test? I have heard of several and would like to know whose testing your remedies were based on.
Thank you kindly.

Those of you who tried them -- did you notice improvement right away, or do they have to be in your system for awhile before you notice anything?
Those of you who went off -- is there any difficulty getting off them like there is with drugs that change the brain chemistry?
I'm not having any trouble with depression. I just am trying to get off of abx because my organs are rejecting them after 2.75 years. I was told that this might help my immune system to beat lyme on its own.
Missextreme, Did you have trouble with nausea from any of the amino acids at first? And, how specifically do you feel it helped you to get over lyme?
Thank you all, Tempe.

The way Dr. C approaches is to follow the protocol for a few months and then test your brain neurotransmitters to see if everything is in balance.
I went and looked back over his test sheet that list test and name of compnany, that he would like you to eventually take for him.
Unfortunately he wrote out brain neurotransmitter test in ink with price but no mention of company name.
I have done searches before about amino acid neurotranmitters and have found info on topic before. jay

I tried Dr. C's neurotransmitter therapy for about a month. I was using it to try to help with my fatigue. For me, it didn't help with my tired body. Rather, it just made me feel like I was "wired out" in my mind. However, I'm 5'8" and weigh about 117 lbs so that may make a difference. Also, I was still trying to take antibiotics at the same time. He did not run any tests on me before prescribing this therapy.
Hope it works for you. Each person is different.

Regarding the lab and testing. It is a urine test and saliva if checking hormones. I don't know which lab he uses but I know of three, one of which I would have to ask someone the name of.
NeuroScience Inc. website: neurorelief.com NeuroRearch website: neuroreplete.com
From my understanding one of these labs "broke away" from the other and started a new company. They both sell their own products.
I tested very very low in Epiniphrine, Norepinephrine, Dopamine and Seratonin. My non LL hoslitic MD said he's seen little response with this therapy but he also tends to give up on things too quickly.
I'm considering ordering the products recommended but am doing something else right now.
Again, not sure if this is what Dr. C does but I know he consults with Dr. R in KC and she uses the NeuroResearch products, so perhaps he incorporated it into his protocol?
Gigi - you asked me to email you directly regarding my question about Dr. AD who worked with Dr. K but I don't have your email and when I tried to ask you, you weren't accepting private messages. Can you send me a private message with your email addy? Thanks,
Tim

For Semi-Retired:
I get too many e-mails from Lymenetters and hopping back and forth is not my kind of thing. It takes way too much of my time. Anybody can send me a direct e-mail.
Since I do not accept e-mails on Lymenet any longer, I am not allowed to send you one. Semi-Retired.

A year ago Dr. C used Neuroreplete. I don't know if that is still the case. Hiker

Dr. C's protocol helped me within the first week. I had to get my Neurolift/L-Tryptophan balanced, though. At first I was either really wired or super tired. As soon as I added both, however, things balanced out.
