Does anyone get this intermittent bloating and puffiness? For me now it's every few days. I start to get puffy around my eyes, then comes the weird stoned feeling...like I'm stoned without being high, then i wake up the next morning with alot of noticeable puffiness around my eyes. Also my body seems to randomly get bloated every once in a while. Okay...also this is weird but the shape of my eyes seem to chage as if the bloating of my face compresses my eyes downward.

Hey!

I do, I get this weird thing of the puffiness around the eyes, pulling them down (eye shape changes quite a bit). I don't get the stone feeling, but my eyes sockets hurt like h.......l along with the eyeballs.

I really don't think is the Lyme or any coinfection, I think is yeast. Not sure.

Up for answers!!!!!

When I'm at my worst, I puff up enough that I actually look heavier than I am.

It drove me crazy because I have a weight obsessed mother. It took a few times of saying it, but eventually it stuck with her that I was swollen and not gaining weight.

Are you on doxy? I just found out that two weeks into this, I am having an allergic reaction to it. Not a 'hives' type reaction, but the doctor says it's an internal one, like a build-up of fluid.

That explains why I have felt lately that I am ballooning out of control when my exercise and diet hasn't changed at all. The edema in my legs was so severe yesterday that I had to go to my pre-vein surgery 40 weight compression stockings, and the edema was not effected one bit, it's still pitting about a quarter of an inch.

This is also why my vision has deteriorated, the pressure from the fluid. So I'm off doxy, I have to wait till all this clears my system before we consider another antibiotic. Sigh...

If you're on doxy and you're feeling bloated, eyes swollen, ankles swollen, you should get to a doc and get checked out, run labs for kidney function and electrolytes to make sure it's not affecting you the same way.
