I'm on IV Rocephin and Vancomycin for a pericarditis that I got after my heart surgery. I am feeling VERY weak and I have aches in my elbows, knees and shoulders.

Is this a herx reaction?

A very powerful antibiotic combo. So sorry for all the problems you are having.

Yes you are probably having a herx reaction.

Hope you are taking lots of COQ10 to help strengthen your heart.
