My girlfriend (also a lyme patient) has had puffy eyes for the past several days. they are slightly painful, but don't seem to be going away. we are starting to get a bit worried.

does anyone have this symptom? what makes it better/go away/when should we expect it to go away?
Thank you!

I've had all kinds of eye problems w/LD...droopy eyes, conjunctivitis, itching, burning, pink eyes, double vision, but I'm not sure if they've been puffy, although they've felt puffy a couple of times.

Most recently, they became very irritated after I used a commercial eye wash to rinse out what felt like sand in my eyes, burning and closing up.

It took 2-3 days to get back to relatively normal. Nothing I tried really helped much, although they seemed to get better after I started pulsing tinidazole again. Bion Tears solution felt the best in the eye.

Have you tried an antiinflammatory, i.e., aspiring or ibuprofen?
