Thanks for posting this. I've lived in Chicago since 1998, but when I first fell ill (in 1987), I lived in Ridgefield, CT.
When my western blot came back positive 2 years ago, my regular doctor (who knows my long history of illness) asked me if I had been to Wisconsin recently. I told him no.
Now I wonder if I was perhaps reinfected?
