I am desperately trying to convince my doc that I need 400mg of Doxy (she is only willing to prescribe 200mg/day for 3 weeks), and I would like to find some reliable info/documentation to send her saying that increased dosage is needed; also, she said that she doesn't have any data supporting oral treatment vs. IV treatment. Is there something I can send her supporting this as well??

go to TREEPATROL'S NEWBIE LINKS,
look for Dr. B's 05 treatment guidelines...don't know about dosages off the top of my head.
Wouldn't hurt you to print off the entire 33 pages; you will learn a lot.

Print off Tree's newbie links too; handy to have to read other specific things you are interested in. good luck...
