I was so hoping to get a positive result this time. This is the 3rd time I've been tested, each time by Igenex. The first time was last August and it was negative. The 2nd time was in October 05 after a month's worth of Ketek, and it was indeterminate by Igenex and CDC negative.
I know having abx on board can affect the results, but I'm just so disappointed. I'm getting better w/abx, but I still have plenty of symptoms, so I know I'm not cured. Maybe I'll never test positive.
My CD57's have been low, 60, 28, and 18, and she couldn't find the results of the last one I had done, and I know that's consistent w/LD.
I so want to be counted in our state's statistics.
Has anyone else been where I am now?

Can anyone who has an understanding of Western Blots tell me what it means when you test IND (Igenex) and then 9 months later the entire IGG & IGM are both negative? Does this mean you are improving or that you just aren't producing any antibodies?

I don't think that a negative WB means that you're not making antibodies to Bb anymore, but I'm no expert. I think it could mean that you're improving and that your body isn't making as many antibodies as it had previously, and again, that's me just trying to logic it out.
If you're on abx, I understand that they can interfere w/the results of the WB, making it negative, and to get a more accurate result, one should stop taking abx for 1-2 weeks prior to getting your blood drawn.
I hadn't done so with this last test, myself, and really hadn't even considered this until Mag told me this.
Apparently there are other supplements (like niacin, vit c and others) you can take in preparation for the test which will help Bb "come out" and get measured, but I'm not sure of exactly what they all are and what doses should be taken.
I may try one more time, but if I do, I'm going to go this route...stop abx for a while and take the supplements.
