I was surprised and shocked when I opened one of many bottles from iherb to find that the protective cover had been taken off.

I wrote to them about it because when I called their voice mail was full...very strange for even a small company.

Just be careful and make sure your bottles are tamper-proof. I'll keep you informed about what happens. Probably won't hear until after the holiday.

Hmmm, I order many of my supplements from them, and haven't run into this problem....

Do you mean the clear wrap around the neck of the bottle?

Let us know what they say.

I have ordered from them for over 2 years and never had a problem. They just had a special on Primal Defense, 20% off, which is a pretty good deal.

I hope you get your situation fixed. Just somehting else to deal with, i know.

Take care,

Jordan

There was no plastic on the bottle. I was referring to paper that is put across the top of the bottle when you unscrew the lid.

I have also noticed that when I order now from iherb, it is now papanature that replies. On the phone the voice mail refers to papanature being a part of iherb. This is new to me.

Glad to hear that some have never had trouble with iherb. Their prices and selection are great. Will keep you informed when I hear from them.

Thanks for the replies. Would feel better if I get more good replies.

I just had this same issue from Emerson Ecologics. They have wholesale prices for all kinds of brands of supplements. I ordered e-Lyte vit C and it didn't have the paper across the opening but it did have the plastic around the cap. It looked different inside. It was yellowish powder inside instead of white crystals. I called Emerson right away and the manager is going to call e-Lyte on Tues and see if the had a product change and how it's packed. They were right on the ball and took it seriously.
So, I say call iherb and ask why it wasn't sealed and ask for another one. They may want you to send the old one back and ask them to credit your account the amount you spend of postage.

I've been ordering from iherb for years and have had nothing but positive experiences. But I think they just moved their warehouse... the shipping costs went way up and my last package took much longer than usual to get to me.

I seem to remember them sending out an email recently to regular customers explaining the changes and apologizing for any delays, etc..

in my experience, they've always been a very reputable and reliable company though....I would follow up with them...

I've also always had good experiences with iherb. They have changed to papanature, with supposedly more stock, so there may be some problems with the changeover. I'm sure they will take care of the problem when you let them know. Its a holiday weekend, so give them a little time.

Could be the problem is with Jarrow. Need to know because I order a lot of Jarrow products. Will definitely follow up all angles because it is so important to all of us. Will keep you posted.

Thanks for all your responses. Seems we just should be very careful that items are tamper-proof. Can't afford to be too brain foggy about what we put in our bodies.
