Having trouble telling if this is a herx.

Was on lev/zith combo for 45 days... stopped lev do to tendon pain. 2 days only on zith, dizzyness completely went away, eye sight improved slighty.... urine had bubbles in it again. Now I am on a rifampin/zith/cats claw combo, and the dizzness is back hardcore, vision is terrible... like i am looking into snow, and urine has not bubbles.

Also... my tick bite(from 5 years ago, which was never an EM rash, FLAIRED up hard the second day i stopped zith, like a big red pimple).

My questions

Can a herx last 45 days?
Is it just coincidence that the dizzyness went away for two days and the tick bite flaired again?

Does ANYONES original bite ever flair up on a routine basis? MY tick bite would only flair up once every 6 months before getting sick, while at my sickest was flairing up a couple times a week, now it flairs up every 2-3 weeks?

If you know where the tick bit you, does it create a bulls eye rash, or is it possible to look like a big red pimple, or something similar? Thanks as always! [bonk]

I can attach pictures if that would be helpful.

I don't know much about the rash since I never had one, but yes a herx can last 45 days and more.

I would call your LLMD and ask if you can back off the meds a bit until the herx subsides.

Rifampin is rough stuff!
