This message is from Kay Lyon regarding the importance of a very good turnout for Dr Charles Ray Jones' next hearing date: Thursday, June 22d. It would send a terrific message to Dr Shapiro and the CT Medical Board Members if we all arrive in large, well-behaved numbers rivaling the recent rally! Both Dr Jones, himself, and his attorney, Elliott Pollack, have both said that they are putting "no limitations" on the number of people who can attend the hearings. Hope to see you there!

Yes, Dr. Jones told me this at the Rally. He also said it is important for people to be professional & respectful. He asked that we NOT wear lyme green, or cheer or boo (no matter what is said). The hearing must not be confused with a rally.
He said how grateful he would be if we could be there as a quiet presense but then come up to him after to let him know we are supporting him. He says seeing us after means a lot to him.
Also, keep sending donations to the legal fund. hatsnscarfs

For bus connections from other casinos try googling (www.google.com )for example " casinos CT " or neighboring state.
I believe that casinos typically offer bus service from their establishments so if anyone in the region lives near a casino you could probably find a way to get to Hartford cheaply.
(Lyme patients will probably want to avoid noisy, disorienting, smokey rooms as far as possible. Bringing a change of clothes in a zip-lock bag would probably be further good insurance if taking a casino bus and no doubt appreciated by fellow attendees. I had occasion to take one of these buses once and it wasn't smokey- but I would guess that that isn't always true.)
A person could also take a bus from Mohegan Sun to New Haven and take the train the rest of the way. The bus and train leave from the same depot.
Anyway, each of you please think through your own personal needs and decide on an appropriate means of transportation for yourself. The important thing is to find ***some way*** to attend.
