Apparantly milk thistle is good for the liver. Once a month (started today) I down an olive oil (cold pressed,virgin)/lemon juice drink. I ate a few apples last night and had the drink this morning on an empty stomach. I added some tumeric powder in too. Be sure to drink water after to help flush out the toxins.

Be careful with any gallbladder flush! If you have any large stones it could cause them to get stuck in the bile duct causing incredible pain and an emergency.
Just my opinion, I think the flushes where you drink tons of olive oil and lemons are a hoax. If you combine those with other things in your tummy you get what looks like a gallstone, but I have found NO scientific research showing that they have disected these supposed stones and found that indeed they are gallstones.
I have found smaller amount of organic olive oil and whole lemons to be purifying though.

I did a few of the olive oil/lemon juice flushes. They made me feel awful for the whole next day. I was so weak that I couldn't type on the computer. So I asked my Naturopathic Dr about the flushes (I should have done this first), and he said to NEVER EVER do them again. He says that they actually damage the liver, and that the socalled stones that come out are nothing more than a byproduct of the olive oil mixture, that they aren't really stones that were there before the flush. The following is part of an article about liver flushes:
I drank the apple juice for two days, diligently maintaining the two hour schedule. The olive oil was much more difficult. I hesitated for about fifteen minutes before pinching my nose and gulping it down, the way I used to when my mother made me drink tomato juice. The sensation of such a large amount of pure oil in my mouth was so unpleasant, I nearly vomited. I thought that turning off the lights and lying down would make me feel better, but it only took away all distraction and forced me to focus on my nausea. Somehow, though, I managed to fall asleep.
When I woke up the next morning, I had cramps in my abdomen, but I didn't have the urge to go to the bathroom. So I waited. And waited. Then suddenly I felt pressure building quickly in my intestines. The event was nothing short of explosive and peering into the toilet, satisfying. About 70 dark green balls, ranging in size from 1 mm to 1 cm were floating on the water. I picked one up and rinsed it off. It was gelatinous and felt soft and squishy.
But still I wondered how I could have had so many gallstones at my age and health. Their soft, translucent and gelatinous consistency also made question whether they were actually cholesterol stones.
I decided to do some research. The first thing I learned was that some people believe the gelatinous green balls are probably not gallstones. Several sources, including the naturopathic doctors Michael Murray and Joseph Pizzorno, said that "gallstones" typically passed during the liver flush are not really gallstones but simply soft complexes of mineral, olive oil and lemon juice produced within the digestive tract.
The liver flush is also theoretically unsafe for people who have gallstones. The large amount of oil causes the gallbladder to contract, making it possible for a gallstone to become lodged in the narrow opening of the gallbladder and necessitate emergency gallbladder surgery. Since gallstones are common in North America and many people with gallstones are asymptomatic, the absence of gallbladder-related symptoms does not mean an absence of risk. This procedure should only be done under the supervision of a trained health practitioner

I have read green tea is twice as high as black in fluoride and aluminum.

All natural herbal. No oils. You can click on the link to look at what's in them. You are suppose to suppliment with extra omegas, probiotics and roughage (fiber). It does it over a one month period. I think anyone being treated for lyme (and probably any other illness) should be on at least milkthistle. Look at all those side effects of even the cholesterol lowering drugs. Scarey!

hulda clark and others have done this cleansing with thousands and thousands of patients with no serious issues. the epsom salt greatly dialates the ducts. its important to do a muciod plaque colon cleanse to make sure the ducts are clear going into the intestine. also its important to do a parasite cleanse, as they are locked on and can prevent the stones from coming out.

why would my friend who is chock full of gall stones pass a stone without taking anything at all then? this cannot be explained by this theory. her stone was green and somewhat soft and just like all the others you see. why would i fail to get the same results on my second flush that closely followed the first if the stones were just caused by what i took in? an explaination for this can be found in the literature. it is suggested to wait before doing another cleanse to let the stones shift. why do people who get all the stones out (possibly thousands of stones) reach a point where no more stones come out? (with greatly improved health no less) there is a great lack of education on these thigns which accumulate in our bodies. almost all of us have this stuff from our diets that many do not even realize are poor. This has to do partially with PH levels and how what we eat affects our PH.

they made me feel very weak and nasty too, but this is fairly normal, especially for those that are sick. if you read others experiences you will find this is pretty common.
the people at my LLMD's (ILADS co-founder) office know about this cleanse, and they certainly do not take it as a hoax.
if you do some reading about peoples experiences with the cleanse, the results speak for themselves. people go through dramatic transformations by cleaning out the main filter of their bodies. you could spend hours on curezone forum, or others im sure, reading about the tremendous help people have gotten from this. i do not believe all these people are lying in some kind of massive co-ordinated effort. there is even a forum on curezone for those who want to call it a hoax and discuss this. lots of doctors will probably tell you drinking green tea is good for you, but its full of fluoride and aluminum. taking the advice of one or a few as the facts without doing some research can be harmful.
new "Liver Flush Questionnaire Survey Results" @ curezone
Have you regretted doing liver flushes?
This question is referring to all flushes. Sometimes, while feeling nauseated or while vomiting oil, people feel like a crap and regret drinking oil. This question is not about a single experience. This question is about general liver flushing experience. Today, when you look back, how do you feel about liver flushing?
Yes, I regretted I started liver flushing. - 3 of 194 - 2%
No, I am glad I started. - 179 of 194 - 92%
Undecided. Too early to know. - 12 of 194 - 6%
