None of the tests can be believed with one data point. I tested neg for bart several times and after four months, finally positive. You should have a doctor that is consdering clinical symptoms in determining whether or not to treat.

two of my bart tests have come back negative, but my LLMD is poised to start treating me for Bart.
Tricky though because of my drug sensitivities-we have decided to hold for now since I think I am improving just on the Ceftin and supplements.
I'm feeling ambivalent myself on the matter of treating for Bart with the blood work coming back neg.
But why the seizures and the stabbing pains in soles of my feet and vision problems and cognitive problems severe enough to put me out of work?
Co infections are cowards I have decided and like to hide. Too afraid to come out in the open where they will get BLASTED.

My daughter shows positive on one test and negative on another. Yet...you can't deny the red streaks all over her body and symptoms.
It's just hard trying to convince other doctors you are sick when the tests don't read true.

I tested negative for three years. I got a positive in the fourth ( and this was after being treated for it just based on symptoms) So no, dont believe the tests.

I'll second what Scott and CrimeofLYme said....
I was negative 3 different times. Last November i finally came up positive through IGeneX where the others were also done.
I think Bart now is worse than Babesia!!!!!!

Hello, My doctor said no blood test would be right unless I was off antibiotics for at least 6 weeks. After he told me I also read this in a lyme disease book.So this may or may not affect your results...
