Hi,
How long can Herxes last? I have had off and

on altitudinous vertigo/light headedness the

last 3 days. By the days end I usually have that

God awful head ache that is usually either in

the frontal region, or in the neck. When in the

neck it is coupled with neck stiffness.

Also, when I move my neck I can often here

noises in there (such as cracking).

Can lack of sleep intensify Lyme disease or

make symptoms worse? I slept 2 hours the night

before last and had a full day the following. By

nights end full on vertigo, neck stiffness and

pain, that head ache.

Thanks,
John.

I've had herxes that lasted for 2 months, even after stopping the meds. I was basically in a continual herx for the first year.

I would think that lack of sleep would give the critters the upper hand. You made them very happy!

Hope you get better sleep tonight! [Smile]

I have herxes last from days to months. Not getting enough sleep always makes mine worse.

Do you have any muscle relaxers or pain medicines? That helps me get through the worst pain but also drinking alot of pure water, epsom baths, and burbur help me as well.

Good luck and I hope it is a short herx.
