I was musing this week and got to thinking about why med establishment says too much abx has been/is being given out and all the reasons why bugs are becoming resistant to abx, and need to use stronger/newer drugs.
Well does that mean higher and higher strength abx are being given to all farm animals b/c bugs are becoming resistant to whatever batch is fed to aimals. Good Lord, livestock are fed abx from time of birth to wheneve, WE MUST be eating a ton of abx. Still how come vets/govermet/med establishment don't back off giving abx to animals for same reason.
This doesn't sound right. Anyone have any answers.

Yes, we are, and growth hormones also, which are pumped into the animals to fatten them up quicker.
I know it's more expensive and less convenient to do so, but if we all stopped buying (supporting) the 'chemical' meat/food/farming, we'd all be better off for it..
