OK, here's something wierd, at least for me. I have had 2 very large, painful boils, one coming just a few days after the other went away in the last 2 weeks. I have never had anything like this before. Both were on my head, the first under my hair thank goodness, but the 2nd right on the side of my jaw.

I went to a naturapath MD for the first time this week, as Im taking a break from ABX and need to start some metal detox, anyway, she said it might be an avenue my body was using to detox. If so, I want it to detox somewhere else !

Anybody ever heard of the body trying to detox this way ? Or, could it be coincidental infections? All I know is, I want my face back !!

Hey there mountainmoma,

I recently had boils happen to me...

Because diabetes symptoms are similar to lyme I had no idea I was becoming diabetic...

You may want to have your sugar levels checked asap.
I never had boils errupt like this with lyme.

Because the lyme bug gets into every organ I suspect it has crept into my pancreas and is preventing it from working properly...thus the diabetes...

There seems to be a link as yet unknown to me anyway that a lot of we lymies get diabetes soon after lyme diagnosis......

Better check it out!

Boils described at the website below. Could be a staph infection.
