I have a neighbour who was an honor roll student, got into the best colleges and so on and so on who upon adulthood feel into a progressive state of depression that now at age 42 (or so) has lead him to some very suicidal tendancies.
He loves to hike, camp, etc etc and because they can't find any reason for his depression I can't help but suspect that MAYBE it's caused by Lyme Disease and the depression is HIS number 1 symptom.
Currently he's on Lithium and is a sleeping vegetable and although I have tried to convince the parents that perhaps he could at least have the possiblity of Lyme investigated, I can't seem to get through.
If anyone could and would send me studies to support my thoughts I'd greatly appreciate it as the last thing I want to see is this man kill himself. It would devastate his parents and his three young daughters.
Thanks guys, your support is appreciated again.
